2025 is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Daniel O’Connell. To mark this anniversary, two events will be held in the Library on Saturday 20th September.
12.00 – 13.00 O’Connell Goes Digital
Researching Daniel O’Connell and putting material into a digital format – lessons learned and transferable skills for future projects.
14.00 – 15.00 Irish Catholic Directory Goes Digital
This underappreciated resource is being digitalised. When completed this project will assist parishes and a multitude of interested groups to research, clerical profiles in parishes, ordinations, ornamental sculptors, stained glass manufacturers, church furnishers.
